What I run

  • Alumni relations with 1,250+ chapter alumni through an advisory board and newsletters
  • Sigma Connect, a networking platform I built for the chapter, now in beta ahead of launch. It has already helped several people find roles through the network. The plan is to pipe chapter news and photos into it to populate newsletters automatically, and to run a small team of agents that answer inbound email, support fundraising and recruiting, and help organize black-tie and other alumni events
  • Recruitment: a record 37-member class with a $30k+ budget and events of 300+ attendees, the largest rush in chapter history
  • Housing and operations: a $100k+ budget across multiple properties and chapter stakeholders

Why it matters

Most of what a chapter does is operations. Budgets have to close, properties have to be maintained, and a few hundred people have to show up on the right night. The alumni side is the longer game. A chapter with 1,250 alumni has a network most undergraduates never get to tap, and the platform exists so that network does not stay theoretical.
